Chlamydia can be passed even if the penis or tongue does not go all the way into the vagina or anus. This is an over share Im sure but I dont know what to make of this. My boyfriend and I have been together for 1year and 3 months. My partner and I have been having protected and unprotected sex for half a year now. Back in July we became exclusive.
I tested negative in February after having sex with them, and again on June 15th after having sex with other partners to ensure I was clean.
Since being exclusive with my partner, I didn’t get tested again until Oct 13th and there was a month of no vaginal sex and just after getting an IUD on Sept 27th we had unprotected vaginal sex and I stupidly thought, “oh I’ve been having unprotected sex with the same person since my last test that came up negative there’s no way…” in hindsight – always get tested anytime you’re in… anyway.
My partner was tested 2 years ago and since apparently has no full memory of the different people they had sex with but knows they had protected sex with two others in April & May .
They went and got tested “three weeks ago” possibly the last week of September and got a call this past Monday that they tested positive for Chlaymidia, they got treated and informed me)
I went and got treated for it as well, and got tested on Oct 12 hoping it would come back negative. I got a call on Oct 16 stating that it did come back positive. I haven’t shown signs and feel it may have been the latest time we had unprotected vaginal sex that I got it from them.
Is it possible for my partner to have had it from year ago and I somehow not get it from them until now?
